Stock looks like this

Probably worth like 25 extra BHP, although i like the stock ones better. I'm not much of a fan of chrome anything.

Put it right under the other one.

Nah, just get an even louder BOV.
Simultaneously more subtle and less subtle way of proclaiming that your car is turbocharged.

I really don't like the stock turbo badge much. I've actually considered taking it off entirely, but this new style looks more interesting. It's from the Malibu.

But those cost 10X as much and on this car are a HUMONGOUS pain in the ass to install.
I'm not adding a badge, just swapping.

Yeah between the two I like the eBay one better.

I should just put one of these on instead

All three would be better.

If I win the lottery, I'll buy every variant of turbo badge I can find and cover the hatch. Like sticker bombing, but with badges

It does look more interesting. I say do it, you're car should appeal the most too you before it appeals to other people.

You'd be a legend. You'd get picked by /Tuned just for the badges.

Swapping out one turbo badge for another is something few people will really notice. At least the new one is more italic than the original.
Can I interest you in some stick-on fender vents ?

Include this one too

Yay. I'm going to look at an LTZ tonight. The RS is a little rich for my blood right now sadly.

Had I not sold my Supra, I would have put this little guy on.

Looks better than the stock turbo badge, and since the stock turbo badge was already there, then not really reminiscent of a ricer

I've thought about getting a sticker, but I'm trying to minimize sticker-itis

Can you at least drive an LTZ and an RS side by side? I'd be curious to know how they compare.
![]() 02/18/2014 at 15:56 |

I'll notice it, and since I dislike the stock one might as well try it.
And no...although I've thought about trolololo-ing with a vette badge

At least it's not an 'ebay special', but an actual GM part that goes on another car

Yeah, oem badges are best. your current badge says
Turbo: because it will help you save on gas!
The new one says
Turbo: because it makes your car faster!

Turbo: because it makes your car faster, and better on gas! Unless you drive around in boost all the time, then your gas mileage goes to poop

I feel like I calculated mpgs on my old celica once (which was turbod.) It was like 15 in everyday driving around town and then about 30 on the highway where I was less likely to drive like an asshole.

Yeah, I'm going to a different dealer tonight that has both in stock. I'll let you know.

The RS felt slightly more buttoned down (both were automatics, it's all they had) and more confident at initial corner turn in. Honestly? For me, besides the better and more aggressive looks of the RS, I don't see much that is worth the extra money over an LTZ. Also, I like the lighter color interior of the LTZ over the RS.
Also, I'm probably going to stick with the automatics. At this point in my life, I just like not having to worry about it. Sticks are great but I'm just at a point in my life where the automatic is more attractive to me.

If you're sticking to automatic, might as well get the LTZ since one of the biggest differences is the manual transmission.
The seats and steering wheel sold me on the RS, but I don't think you can go wrong with the LTZ

Agreed. The seats seemed all day comfortable with reasonable support (it's not a sports car after all). We'll see. Gotta see if my dealer will give me enough for my Equinox. He just gave 20K for one just like mine with 3K more miles on it. I'm hoping for a tick more but not sure if he will be willing. Hope he is in a good mood tomorrow! (today?)
